Gary M. Cruz, age 45, entered into rest January 10, 2008 in Del Rio, Texas. He was born September 29, 1962 in Los Angeles, CA. He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Galindo Cruz Jr..
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 6 years, Orquidia Sarita Cruz; mother Romelia Lara; daughter Nina M. Cruz; sons; Gary Cruz Jr. and wife Jeanette, Michael Lee Cruz and wife Quetina; stepsons Victor M. Parra and wife Mindy, Jose A. Parra; brothers; Juan G. Cruz III, Jesse M. Cruz, Eddie C. Cruz, Juan Cruz and Luis A. Cruz; sisters; Sandra Moncibais, Ana Delia Gutierrez and Elsa Pacheco; grandchildren: Gary M. Cruz III, Izayah A. Cruz, Leticia M. Soto, Gabriel Zavala and Viviana A. Zavala.
Gentlemen left with the honor of pallbearers: Gary M. Cruz Jr., Michael Lee Cruz, Mark Martinez, Reynaldo Martinez Jr., Luz Alfredo Alarcon Jr., Osvaldo Lomas, Victor M. Parra, Robert Guajardo Jr.
Honorary pallbearers: Juan Cruz III, Mark Anthony Cruz, Christopher Cruz, John C. Moncibais, Juan C. Jimenez and Ralph Benavides.
Visitation was held Friday, January 11, 2008 from 5:00 PM-9:00 PM, Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Chapel of Remembrance. Recitation of the Holy Rosary was held at 7:00 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe at 2:00 PM.
Interment to follow at San Felipe Cemetery.
