Guadalupe Escobar,
Guadalupe Escobar, age 57, entered into rest on October 13, 2009 in Del Rio, Texas. He was born October 7, 1952 in Del Rio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia Escobar.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 24 years, Juana P. Escobar. Son, Joaquin Alfaro and wife Estela. Daughters, Elsy D. Alfaro Cardenas and husband Blas, Roxanna Alfaro Navarro and husband Hervey, Rita Alfaro Herrera and husband Arturo. Sisters, Graciela Alday, Maria Cox, Olga Medina, Juanita Johnson, Veronica Uribe, Margarita Andrade and Angelica Uribe. 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2009 from 3:00pm-9:00pm, Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral, Chapel of Remembrance. Recitation of the Holy Rosary 7:30pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 12:00pm, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
